ADMISSION LIST OLABISI ONABANJO UNIVERSITY (OOU) RELEASES 2021 ADMISSION LIST ON JAMB CAPS

This is to inform the general public especially the applicant of OLABISI ONABANJO UNIVERSITY (OOU) that the admission list for the 2021/2022 academic session has been updated on jamb caps .


Applicants who are Admitted via First batch and have paid their comittal fees are expected to login to their respective caps to check their Admission status to accept the Admission offer.


After you must have accepted the Admission offer,you are mandated to print out the Jamb Admission letter in hardcopy as it’s among the documents required for the ongoing verification Exercise at the Institution campus


Candidates who are yet to be offered admission on the school portal are advised to await for the second batch Admission list, they are also expected to note that this Admission allocation which Commenced few days ago is for only first batch admitted Applicants.


The Admission is being processed gradually.


HOW TO CHECK ADMISSION STATUS ON JAMB CAPS


1. Prospective Applicants are expected to follow the instructions below to check their Admission status on Jamb caps:

2. Visit Jamb caps portal via your browser especially chrome .

3. Input your Gmail address and your password received from Jamb via Gmail mailbox.

4. Confirm the Examination year by ensuring it is (2021).

5. Change your browser from mobile site to desktop site.

6. Click on check Admission status at the first homepage (Dashboard).

7. Input your UTME Registration number in the rectangular box at the top of the page.

8.Click on Access my caps to direct you to my caps profile.

9. Click on Admission status at the left hand corner of my caps profile.

10. Click on Accept to accept your Admission offer.

11. Anticipate for Congratulatory message from jamb and proceed to print your Jamb Admission letter.

ABSU votes for extension of ASUU strike by another one month

  The academic staff union of universities ASUU, Abia state University ABSU has vowed to continue strike action in case their demands are no met by the FG We gathered this at the union branch in a terse statement signed by the chairperson of the branch Nkendirim and secretary udom. The branch suggests that the strike should be rolled over if FG hasn't met to their demands by next week. This is ahead of the upcoming NEC meeting to be held next week .

  After serious deliberations that dragged into the early hours of Monday, the National Executive Council, NEC, of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has voted to embark on one-month warning strike to press home its demands from the government.   A source at the meeting held in Lagos told Vanguard in confidence that the strike is to allow the Federal Government do the needful failure to which the union would go on an indefinite strike.       “We just want to give the government a long rope hoping that it would see the need to avoid a total paralysis of academic activities in the nation’s universities. ASUU RAISES HOPE OF CALLING OFF STRIKE

  Hope rises for public university students in Nigeria as Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) provides hints it might call off its 110 days long strike.   ASUU President, Professor Emmanuel Osodeke, told AIT’s Abulu Osemuaghu exclusively via the telephone that it will brief the media this week.     The ASUU President said as parents, he and other lecturers feel the pain of the students and want to see them back in classes as soon as possible.   Osodeke however accused Federal Government of foot-dragging on its various demands especially the adoption of the University Transparency and Accountability Solution, (UTAS) which it said has passed 90% test.     ASUU admitted that the meeting with the Federal government’s 2009 Agreements renegotiation team led by Professor Nimi Briggs has so far been fruitful.   There have been protests by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) to scuttle political parties primaries if the schools are...
