OOU RELEASES 2021/2022 SECOND BATCH ADMISSION LIST ON SCHOOL PORTAL

Following the release of the First batch Admission list on jamb caps,we are pleased to notify all Applicants of the Olabisi onabajo University (OOU) and the general public that the UNIVERSITY management had rolled out the second batch Admission list for the 2021/22 Academic Session.



 


 

The Admission list has been successfully uploaded on the school website.Applicants who applied for the Institution and have not been admitted via first batch are urged to log in to their post utme portal to check their Admission status.


HOW TO CHECK ADMISSION STATUS


Prospective Candidates are Instructed to visit the post utme Application portal via this link:

http://portal.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng/admission/login.php


Input their UTME Registration number and surname as password to access their Admission status.NB:As at the time of filling this report,the Admission list is being uploaded gradually,


Don’t flinch once you checked it as the site might be congested or still undergoing maintenance,you are required to check back frequently should incase you encountered this Glitch.


While awaiting this,you can also keep a close tab on your Registered Gmail mailbox for the Admission offer notification.


WHAT NEXT AFTER BEEN OFFERED ADMISSION?


Applicants who have successfully accepted their Admission on the school portal are compelled to pay a non-refundable fee of #60,000 as the Acceptance fees within the stipulated time.Acceptance fees deadline(4th of March, 2022).


This is to curb a situation which might leads to Admission deferrement.

ABSU votes for extension of ASUU strike by another one month

  The academic staff union of universities ASUU, Abia state University ABSU has vowed to continue strike action in case their demands are no met by the FG We gathered this at the union branch in a terse statement signed by the chairperson of the branch Nkendirim and secretary udom. The branch suggests that the strike should be rolled over if FG hasn't met to their demands by next week. This is ahead of the upcoming NEC meeting to be held next week .

Breaking: ASUU to go on One-month Warning Strike

  After serious deliberations that dragged into the early hours of Monday, the National Executive Council, NEC, of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has voted to embark on one-month warning strike to press home its demands from the government.   A source at the meeting held in Lagos told Vanguard in confidence that the strike is to allow the Federal Government do the needful failure to which the union would go on an indefinite strike.       “We just want to give the government a long rope hoping that it would see the need to avoid a total paralysis of academic activities in the nation’s universities. ASUU RAISES HOPE OF CALLING OFF STRIKE

  Hope rises for public university students in Nigeria as Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) provides hints it might call off its 110 days long strike.   ASUU President, Professor Emmanuel Osodeke, told AIT’s Abulu Osemuaghu exclusively via the telephone that it will brief the media this week.     The ASUU President said as parents, he and other lecturers feel the pain of the students and want to see them back in classes as soon as possible.   Osodeke however accused Federal Government of foot-dragging on its various demands especially the adoption of the University Transparency and Accountability Solution, (UTAS) which it said has passed 90% test.     ASUU admitted that the meeting with the Federal government’s 2009 Agreements renegotiation team led by Professor Nimi Briggs has so far been fruitful.   There have been protests by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) to scuttle political parties primaries if the schools are...
