EBONYI COLLEGE OF NURSING/ BASIC GENERAL NURSING & POST-BASIC MIDWIFERY ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2022/2023 SESSION NOW ON SALES

  This is to inform the public that applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates into the following programs of the Ebonyi State College of Nursing Sciences, Uburu, Ebonyi State;

(a) Three (3) years General Nursing

Ebonyi College of Nursing Basic General Nursing & Post-Basic Midwifery admission, 2022/2023

(b) 18 months Post-Basic Midwifery

Five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two sittings in WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB. Please note that NABTEB can only be combined with NABTEB.

Interested candidates must be at least 17 years old by July 2023.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Interested candidates should apply online at the college website at www.ebsconsu.edu.ng/apply

Applicants are to pay an application fee of

(a) N15,000 for Nursing Applicants

(b) N6,000 for Midwifery Applicants

by generating a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) on the website.

Kindly proceed to any commercial bank with the Remita invoice generated number to make a payment or simply pay on the Remita platform using a debit card.

Continue application after making payment to complete registration and print out a clear examination photo card which will be presented at the Examination Venue.


The portal is open for application on 17th January, 2022 and closes on 24th June 2022.

Date: Saturday, 25th June, 2022 (Nursing) & Saturday, 16th July, 2022 (Midwifery)


Time: 10:00am dot


Exam Type: Computer-Based Test (CBT) for Nursing & Paper-Pen Test for Midwifery

ABSU votes for extension of ASUU strike by another one month

  The academic staff union of universities ASUU, Abia state University ABSU has vowed to continue strike action in case their demands are no met by the FG We gathered this at the union branch in a terse statement signed by the chairperson of the branch Nkendirim and secretary udom. The branch suggests that the strike should be rolled over if FG hasn't met to their demands by next week. This is ahead of the upcoming NEC meeting to be held next week .

  After serious deliberations that dragged into the early hours of Monday, the National Executive Council, NEC, of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has voted to embark on one-month warning strike to press home its demands from the government.   A source at the meeting held in Lagos told Vanguard in confidence that the strike is to allow the Federal Government do the needful failure to which the union would go on an indefinite strike.       “We just want to give the government a long rope hoping that it would see the need to avoid a total paralysis of academic activities in the nation’s universities. ASUU RAISES HOPE OF CALLING OFF STRIKE
