UNIVERSITY ABSU Acceptance Fee Payment Guidelines & Deadline 2021/2022

This is to inform the newly admitted student of Abia State University ABSU that they can now proceed with the payment of acceptance fee and printing of their ABSU admission letter for the 2021/2022 academic session following the release of ABSU admission list.

All admitted student who have accepted the admission proposal, are expected to pay a non refundable fee of one hundred and forty thousand naira #140 (for professional courses) and ninety thousand naira #90 (for unprofessional courses) as their acceptance fee .

  1. CLICK HERE to check your Admission status on ABSU Portal.
  2. Proceed to Print your ABSU Admission Letter
  3. Generate invoice for Acceptance Fee Payment.
NOTE:
  • ABSU Deadline for payment of Acceptance Fee for those offered admission for 1st Batch for 2021/2022 academic session has been slated for Friday 31st December, 2021..
  • ABSU Deadline for payment of Acceptance Fee for those offered admission 2nd Batch for 2021/2022 academic session has been slated for ****
  • ACCEPTANCE FEE PAYMENT FOR BOTH FIRST BATCH AND SECOND BATCH IS STILL ONGOING. 
PROCEDURES FOR GENERATION OF INVOICE AND PAYMENT OF ACCEPTANCE FEES

Print your ABSU Admission Letter.
Go to Step 1 which is generation of Acceptance Fee Invoice.
Print out the invoice and proceed to bank.
If you are going to Bank….
First print out the invoice page then proceed to the bank…

Once you get to any of the banks above ask for where you can make payment through etranzant payment method and you would be shown.


NOTE : 

Don’t send any money to anyone for payment of Acceptance Fee…

As ABSU won’t be held responsible for any misplaced Fees.

ABSU votes for extension of ASUU strike by another one month

  The academic staff union of universities ASUU, Abia state University ABSU has vowed to continue strike action in case their demands are no met by the FG We gathered this at the union branch in a terse statement signed by the chairperson of the branch Nkendirim and secretary udom. The branch suggests that the strike should be rolled over if FG hasn't met to their demands by next week. This is ahead of the upcoming NEC meeting to be held next week .

Breaking: ASUU to go on One-month Warning Strike

  After serious deliberations that dragged into the early hours of Monday, the National Executive Council, NEC, of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has voted to embark on one-month warning strike to press home its demands from the government.   A source at the meeting held in Lagos told Vanguard in confidence that the strike is to allow the Federal Government do the needful failure to which the union would go on an indefinite strike.       “We just want to give the government a long rope hoping that it would see the need to avoid a total paralysis of academic activities in the nation’s universities. ASUU RAISES HOPE OF CALLING OFF STRIKE

  Hope rises for public university students in Nigeria as Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) provides hints it might call off its 110 days long strike.   ASUU President, Professor Emmanuel Osodeke, told AIT’s Abulu Osemuaghu exclusively via the telephone that it will brief the media this week.     The ASUU President said as parents, he and other lecturers feel the pain of the students and want to see them back in classes as soon as possible.   Osodeke however accused Federal Government of foot-dragging on its various demands especially the adoption of the University Transparency and Accountability Solution, (UTAS) which it said has passed 90% test.     ASUU admitted that the meeting with the Federal government’s 2009 Agreements renegotiation team led by Professor Nimi Briggs has so far been fruitful.   There have been protests by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) to scuttle political parties primaries if the schools are...
